temperature gauge

1983 FORD F-100
100,000 MILES • 5.0L • V8 • 2WD • AUTOMATIC

My temperature gauge is not working in my 83 F100. I have grounded the wire from the sending unit to ground and the gauge did not move. How do I remove the gauge cluster in order to check continuity of the wire from sending unit to the gauge? Thanks
