Removed fuse box cover to install accessories. had a hard time putting it back on but finally got it. started truck and temperature gauge spiked!! what happened?

What accessory did you install and what did you attach the wiring?

You apparently got into some circuit.

Fog lights. Hooked up to upfitter switches.

I would remove the fuse box again and make sure you did not crush any wires or connectors that are not disturbed.
