temp sending switch for gauge 3.2 L engine

Can some one show a diagram as to where the sending switch is located on the engine my Haynes book doesn't show I have been told that it is at the rear of the engine. This is the sending unit for the temp gauge, also This is a 3.2L with mechanical fan, not the electric fan

Attached is a diagram with the temp sensor location. I don't have any other information on sensor other than what you have. It has to be close to the sensor and in the same coolant manifold. I hope this helps.
