Temperature gauge high

temperature gauge has recently been high, up around 3/4. i have owned this car for three years and it has never done this. i replaced the radiator and thermostat and it did not seem to make a difference. the cooling fan works fine and nothing leaks. the water pump was replaced 30,000 miles ago. i do not think it is a head problem as nothing leaks and the car runs strong.
any suggestions?

When you had the radiator out did you use a hose and back clean the AC condenser cooling fins? These fins get plugged up with dirt not allowing the air flow through to the radiator. Here are two guides that can shed some light on the problem:
