TCS light and check engine light turned on while driving?

I stopped and turned the engine off. Only the check engine light stayed on. Every once and awhile the TCS light comes back on but goes off after I shut the engine off. Why is it doing this?

This means you have a trouble code left in the system which we can gather by using a code scanner check out this video. You can get a CAN scanner (Controller Area Network) from Amazon for about $36.00.
