I am trying to locate the TCM which apparently is located on the transmission on the V6 model. Hoping a diagram will show me if it's underneath and easily accessible below the car or if the transmission needs to be torn out first to get to it?

Good evening,

The module is under the dash by the steering wheel.

I attached a picture and a location chart for you.

Are you sure that is not for the 2.3 l 4-cylinder? Two different Auto Parts companies have told me that the V6 has the TCM attached to the transmission itself.

There was an optional transmission and I attached the picture of that location for you.

Are you sure that's not for a manual? My car is an automatic. Also, is that on the underside of the transmission or side or top?

No, they are both for automatic transmissions.
