After we replaced the solenoid pack, we have a code showing no connection or signal going to the TCM. We are being told it needs to be replaced. Also, since replacing the solenoid pack the van only shifts a few times then gets stuck in high gear so would replacing the TCM fix this issue? Thanks!

It should, the TCM on these vehicles had problems and go out often. But first let check the fuse# 2, 10, 12 and PTC CB 10 in the fuse panel on the left side of the dash. Also check the fuse 10, 14 or 15 in the fuse panel under the hood, also there is a transmission control relay in the same fuse panel I would swap out as well.

Here is a guide to help and the fuse and relay locations in the images below:

Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.

I will let him know. He said he checked all the fuses and switched that relay out with another one to test it and it worked fine, but I will tell him about this and show him. Also, does this mean the TCM was going out all along even though it shifted before replacing the solenoid? My Husband said it didn't always engage right but it did shift. Thank you!

Also, do you think the TCM was going out before we changed the solenoid pack even though it shifted before? We had only driven it a few times.

We got it put in and he said it was back to normal on shifting and everything!! Thank you so much for your advice! Also, I will start a new post on the cluster not working. He is also in the process now of changing the gasket on the transmission. We will have it back in around a week or two.
