How do I locate and change the TCC solenoid on the Mercury Sable?

The TCC solenoid is located in the pan and it will have a vio/yellow and a red wire going to it.

Double check from the wiring diagram (below)

Here is a guide that will show you how to drop the pan.

I already drop the pan and there is no wires or solenoid

Do I have to have a jack under the transmission in order to remove to mount bracket to get to the side panel.

Yes a jack is needs to support the transmission, can you take some pics of the job being done and post them?

It will help others doing the same job

I broke my neck and am partially paralyzed in both arms use of them comes and goes do to nerve damage. Can't afford to take the car to a shop so have to try to fix myself but I will try to take pictures if possible
