Hello to All, I recently purchased the truck listed above D21 with a Z24 TBI engine. I would like to change to a Webber carburetor setup. What do I need to change on the engine to make this happen? I greatly appreciate the help to all.

Hey SEANSKI1986,

Out of interest why are you doing this?

I would try a search online for the Redline Weber conversion kits.

They come with a correctly jetted carburetor, adapter plate to retrofit to the intake, an adapter for the throttle cable, fuel pressure regulator and instructions on how to fit.

There will be other companies that do the conversion kits.

They should all come with instructions and everything you need to get rid of the TBI.

Hope that helps,

Any further questions don't hesitate to ask.

Regards, Joe

Hey Joe, thanks for the information. I live in an area that does not do emissions testing. I am all about the simpler the better. I once had a 1972 Ford Pinto, the best on parts cost and the easiest to work on. I will let you know how the change goes. Thanks again.

Hey SEANSKI1986,

Awesome sounds great, the Weber carburetors are pretty good little bits of kit. If you get a genuine one and its set up right it should give reliable performance and it keeps things simple for sure.

Keep us updated if you get a kit, post some pictures and details. I'm sure there are other people with D21's wanting to do the same thing.

Best of luck with the conversion.

Regards, Joe
