Yes, I’m new. Probably going to get some ridicule for this one. I am building up my vehicle listed above. It has the 4.3l v6 TBI 262ci. I want to know if it’s possible and worth it to switch from TBI to EFI? I have read a million different things about converting to carb and MPFI, but nothing goes into detail about EFI.

Is it even a possibility?

Or is TBI and EFI the same thing? It looks like I can buy the EFI, and it bolts right up.

Throttle Body Injection is a form of Electronic Fuel Injection that uses a part that looks like a carburetor and two small injectors. Multi Point Fuel Injection is another version, and it uses either the spider style injector like the 4.3 had for years or individual injectors and controls for each one. I would actually stay with the throttle body injection as it works and is reliable and you wouldn't need to change a lot of the electronics and fuel system like you would to use MPFI.

Thanks Steve. Turns out, I was looking in the wrong places. I found what I was looking for about 30 minutes after I asked this.
