Engine tapping sound?

It's making a tapping sound when idle and when revving i feel it gets louder when driving and accelerating also and I feel like the power is down any ideas thankyou

Yep, this is common when the timing chain guide breaks inside the engine. I would remove the valve covers and use a flashlight to see if you can spot it to confirm, thanks for the video it helps when it comes to noises.

Thankyou for the reply the turbo actuator arm is loose aswel could that be the issue ?

Yep, that can do it, I can hear the noise but I cannot tell where it is coming from, does it sound like it is coming from the front of the engine?

I'm not 100% but sounds like it's the front lower down the turbo side
