Hi,

Could the tapping be a clicking sound? Is it loud enough to record and upload for me to hear? I ask because clicking is usually the result of a faulty blend door actuator or mode door actuator. Are the heating and A/C working properly?

Let me know. Also, I'm not sure what specifications you need.

Take care,

Joe

I can feel the blend door actuator tapping through my finger when I touch it. And I would like the torque specs for the drain plug and the actuators procedure.

Hi,

To get you started, here is a link that explains in general how one is replaced. You can use this to help guide you:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/replace-blend-door-motor

I'm not sure if it is the blend door actuator for the left or right, so I attached directions for both. The torque specs are included.

Also, when you say drain plug, I still don't know which one you are referring to. Let me know.

Take care and let me know if this helps.

Take care,

Joe

Hi,

I attached the information below for the drain plug. As far as the drain plug, it shouldn't matter which way you install it. Most gaskets are plastic or fiber. If you have something different, let me know.

Take care,

Joe

Hi,

If it looks like the one, I attached, face the flat surface toward the pan. Also, if it is rubber, lubricate both sides with motor oil to prevent damage to the rubber.

Let me know.

That really just fits to the pan bolt. Did I have the correct type that I sent a picture of?
