Blue smoke is oil burning, check spark plugs for ash deposits a comp test or a leak down test will give a good indication as to ring condition.

Engine may be breathing heavy, due to blow by constant blue smoke is oil burning, either from faulty rings or worn valve guides and valve guide seals.
