Tailgate stuck open?

I am unable to close it with remote, inside power button or manually. I don't want critters or anything else in my van, please help.

Hi,

I don't blame you. LOL I have a question. When you try closing the liftgate, does it feel like it is prevented from being fully closed or does it feel like it fully closes but doesn't latch? Or is the liftgate fully open and won't move?

If you haven't already, check fuse 32 in the under-hood fuse box. See if it is good. Also, when you check it, confirm there is power to and from it.
