My tailgate does not open unless I push on it while pulling on the handle.

Hello, I'm Danny.
I've attached pictures below of the tailgate assembly. Sometimes excessive use of the tailgate makes play in the latch rods or end gate strikers. You might want to disassemble and see where the play is coming from. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
