Right front tire blew out an parts of tire came up and destroyed the head light assembly and pulled the wires from the headlight.. It also pulled the wiring apart for the headlight . I repaired the wiring and installed new headlight. Front lights work okay, all rear lights work except the taillights. Checked all fused i could find and all were okay. Is there a fuse or relay some where i don't know about?

Hello, I'm Danny.

Yes, your car has a taillight relay. Here is a tutorial showing how to test a relay:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-an-electrical-relay-and-wiring-control-circuit

I've attached a picture below showing the taillight relay location. It's behind the right kick panel. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros. Happy Holidays.

Danny, i checked and there is no taillight relay in either fuse box nor is there a place for one. I would think that there has to be either a relay or fuse but i don't see any. I really need a wiring diagram for this particular model to see how they are wired in.

This model has no relay. Is there a fuse somewhere that is not readily easy to find. All the rear lights work except running lights. I really need a wiring diagram.

Hello again.

Can you tell me if your Accord is the DX,LX, or EX model? Since you didn't specify in your post I based this on the EX model. I've attached the exterior lights wiring diagram. I've cut the diagrams in half so you can view larger. I've also included the behind the glove box taillight relay possible location and circled in red the locations of the relay on the diagram and in the car. Hope this helps and thanks again for using 2CarPros. Happy Holidays.

Danny, thanks so much for your help! It's nice to think there is a place to get help instead of spend hundreds to obtain wiring diagrams. That being said there was no relay in the right kick panel fuse box. but there is a fuse small lights that i had to remove and clean so i could look at it. Low and behold the fuse was barely blown and when replaced the taillights worked. I have saved the wiring diagrams for future use and i am sure i will use you in the future for wiring diagrams and help. also will pass on your company to others. Once again thanks a lot! Mike
