Tail lights

I have a 2005 Chevy Tahoe my tail lights will stay on after everything has been off I pulled the battery thinking maybe I can reset it and no could you please help me

Hi,

The first thing I need to say is I'm sorry you had to wait so long for a reply. I'm not sure why this was missed.

As far as the taillights, there has to be a short to power at some point. We need to narrow down where approximately it could be.

If it is only the rear parking lights (and not the brake lights), I want you to remove two fuses in the under hood fuse box and see if the lights go off. This will let me know if there is a problem before or after the fuses.

Please confirm it is the parking lights and not the brake or signal bulbs staying on.
