My brake light on my passenger side has gone out. My mechanic friend says I need a new circuit board. How do I go about replacing it?

Hi,

If the circuit board is bad, we have always replaced the light assembly. The circuit board is part of the light assembly.

Are you sure the bulb is good and the connector on the socket?

Take a look at pic 1 below. Check the connector in the socket and let me know its condition.
