tailgate control module location needed

This is located in behind the left quarter panel. That is in the rear of the vehicle on the driver side.

I changed the control module but it did not fix the problem. The tailgate will open when pressing the button on the dash but not the key fob or foot motion or button on the tailgate itself. Any ideas?

I thought I would chime in here. When you replace the RGTM it requires programming. Once it is programmed, there is an initialization procedure that needs to be completed as well. Most people do not have the tools to program these modules and must be completed by a dealer, or someone who has access to a Ford diagnostic tool as well as the OEM software load for that module.
