Hi,
By chance, is the check engine light staying on when the engine is running? If not, the next thing I recommend is checking the fuel pump pressure. It may be low and when you press the throttle, it can't keep up.
Here is a link that explains how it's done. You will need a fuel pressure gauge, but oftentimes, a parts store will lend one to you at no charge.

Let me know as much as you can. For example, is there any smoke or odd smells from the exhaust when running? Are there any odd sounds? Is the engine coolant low that could indicate another type of issue?
I will watch for your reply.
Take care,
Joe
