Radio turns on, but no sound (stock)

I checked the fuses and none appear to be broken. The weird thing is, if I’m driving for more than an hour or so the radio will slowly start to work until the sound is perfect. Anyone have any idea what it may be? There are no upgrades. Completely stock.

Hi,

There was a technical service bulletin (TSB) put out related to the inability to change volume or staying muted along with other things. The TSB indicates that the radio need to be reprogrammed. A dealer is most likely where you will need to go because of software issues. Take a look at the three pics below. They explain what some of the issues are related to the TSB.

In pic 4, I just highlighted the muted indication.

Take a look through the TSB I attached and let me know if it helps.
