Tachometer not working

Tachometer is not working at all.

Depending on if you have a DOHC or a SOHC engine the source of the RPM signal will be different however, it operates the same. Take a look at the wiring diagrams for more info on this.

We need to start by checking for voltage at the cluster on the white wire highlighted and then ensure the ground that is shown is good as well.

Let me know if you have questions but I suspect you either have a wiring issue or the source of the RPM (depending on engine).
