T-belt dash pilot lamp glows before and after timing belt is replaced

A 1997 nissan atlas truck fitted with an isuzu bighorn engine shows t-belt light on dashboard . The timing belt was replaced with a new one,but the t-belt still shows up,but there is not any electrical connection at the t-belt or any sensor connection. What could be the problem and what do i do now in terms of trouble shooting? Help please

@ hmac300. Or do you have a rough idea of why the t-belt may show on the dashboard of any other light vehicle after fitting a new timing belt . Please do help.

that engine is not covered in our manuals Nissan pick ups in that year have chains not belts so it may be if you replaced the belt you shold have replaced it as a kit or at least put a new tensioner on an dthe cam cranks sensor may be out of sync with each other which wold take a scanner to fix it. but not being familiar with that particular setup I am only guessing at most.
