New struts and sway bar links were replaced on the front of the car. A grinding noise when I hard brake started happening. It appears the sway bar links are rubbing on the CV axles vibration damper.

The pictures does not make a lot of sense the CV axle looks to be hitting strut with the piece that is pictures sway bar links mount to frame and then to strut on your car see pics to give you an idea. If not mounted like this then there is another problem like maybe wrong axles. Either that or struts are on wrong sides. Hookup for sway bar should be in front.

The pictures are taken from under the car as it was on the lift. You are saying the struts are on the wrong sides? The sway bar link currently is on the back side of the CV axle. Only thing changed out were struts and sway bar links. Axles are same as before.

I messed up the pic shows sway bar on back side but something is not right here were the alignment specs ok when it was aligned or were they off? It's hard for me even with pics so have the subframe bushings and control arm bushings checked. Whenon a hoist and axles fully extended it can hit the the damper. The only other thing I can see is that the damper has moved towards the strut causing that.

Actually might have the problem pin pointed I believe the sway bar link needs flipped around because the grease fitting appears to be hitting the cv axel on a hard left hard turn
