I need to change the sway bar link both and half shaft (front right). How much it will cost me? FYI, I just need total quote with parts and labor charges.

We do not get involved with costs here because there are way too many variables. You need to know the shop's hourly labor rate, the quality of the replacement parts, and what the shop plans to charge for those parts. To cover all the extremely high costs of being in this business, most shops need to charge a minimum of around $100.00 per hour.

Most shops bill the time for each procedure based on the listings in a "flat rate" manual. By using that guide, all shops will charge the same number of hours for the same work. Your car calls for 0.4 hours to replace one anti-sway bar link, and 0.6 hours to replace two. One half shaft is listed at 0.9 hours.

An experienced mechanic who has invested in a lot of expensive specialty tools and advanced training will get the job done faster, but the labor charge will be the same. An inexperienced mechanic will take longer than those listed times, but you will not be charged for that additional time.

You can get an idea of the cost of the parts by looking them up on an auto parts store's web site, then doubling it. Parts costs are marked up just like at any other store to cover the cost of doing the job over if one is bad or damaged, the cost of getting it to the shop, and it cover's the mechanic's labor if the part fails under warranty and has to be replaced at no charge to you.
