My dad and I are trying to swap out the transmission in my car listed above it is the S5 model, since the one currently in it no longer works. We were trucking right along until we started to try removing torque converter bolts. We cannot figure out how to get the bolts off because it does not seem like enough space to get a wrench in and take the bolts out. Is there a special wrench that we need to get in order to get them out?

Thanks!

there are no special tools other than to hold the engine up so it does not break motor mounts and fall out. you have to line up converter bolts with hole in picture to access them use a magnetic socket so you do not lose them you will need to turn the engine over for converter bolts to access holes.
