Swapping dash wiring harness?

I need a new dash harness for the dash I bought at the junk yard. But I can find another c1500 truck with a 4.3L engine. I only find dash wiring harnesses for 5.7 c1500 truck.my question is can I use the 5.7 dash wiring harness for my 1996 Chevrolet Cheyenne c1500 4.3L?

You should be okay but to be sure match the old wiring harness to the one you want to install, pay attention to the wiring connectors and how many wires are in each connector. If you have a question about any aspect of the harnesses, please upload images of the parts in questions.
