Swapped over differential and now differential light is on?

Hi there, we have swapped out the differential as the original was stuffed swapped out with a secondhand differential from 2012 model. Now the differential light has stayed on and won't turn off. It drives perfectly fine, no noises no shudders. Any advice on what the issue could be? Do we need to get the module on the differential recalibrated?

Hi,

This vehicle isn't offered in the US, so I have no manuals specific to it. However, I will try my best to help.

The idea that you have a 2016 and used a differential from a 2012, there is a chance, something is different. Since the vehicle is 4wd, are you certain the gear ratio is the same as the front differential?
