Hi, I have a 1988 Toyota Motor-home that has the six lug 1-ton front wheels. I want to exchange them with a 1985 Toyota Motor-home with 5 lug front wheels. What is involved in doing this? Can you direct me to an online source? Thanks

That is a custom job so you won't find instructions online. You have to consider the brakes and front-to-rear brake balance will be different. Different wheels will alter "scrub radius" which will adversely affect handling, steering response, comfort, and load-carrying capacity. Lawyers and insurance investigators love to find these kinds of modifications so they can shift part of the blame for a crash from their client onto you. If you aren't happy with the way your vehicle was designed, look at this as an opportunity to trade for what you want.
