Can i put a 48re from a 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 Hemi into my 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 5.9 diesel they are both 4x4 and 48res?

To answer your question, No, a gasoline version transmission will not be compatible with your diesel truck. There are many differences. Use a diesel version replacement or have your existing transmission rebuilt.Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
