2000 Suzuki Zen 57000 miles

I own a Maruti Suzuki Zen Car, model 2000. I am satisfied by its perfomance but the only problem faced is with regard to suspension. The car, having a low ground clearance touches from below at most of the speadbreakers when the rear seat is fully occupied.
When I stated the problem to my mechanic, he said that the rear suspension has to be raised a bit. He also said that the car will start jumping on the rear at high speed if the suspension is raised.

Please suggest a solution.
