2001 Suzuki XL7 Blowing fuel pump fuses

2001 Suzuki XL7 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

It keeps blowing fuel pump fuses every 15-20 miles. And is pulling 260 ohms. What could be the problem?
