HELLO MARK, THIS SUSUKI IS A EUROPEAN MODEL CALLED WAGON-R, HAS A A240 TRANS CAME IN WITH A CODE 730,AND SECOND GEAR STUCK IN IT (LIMP MODE) WHEN COLD TRANS MAKE A NOISE LIKE THERE IS AIR IN HYDRAULIC SYSTEM (LIKE BAD POWER STEERING PUMP NOISE) WHEN HOT DRIVES OK AND NO NOISE WHEN COLD STICKS IN SECOND AND NOISY

Ok, well thats something to go on as our data base dose not cover that model. This noise is a worry, this could be a pump failing, i think that the first thing i would like to see done is get the transmission line pressures check. I did find this on line, its a bit hard to read, but it refers to the K4 clutch shorting to chassis
