There is a "ticking" in my engine when it is idling once the engine is warmed up. Car is only a week old.
Sounds like a lifter

Drive back to the dealership while the problem is happening. Ask the service Manager to take a listen to it. You are under warranty.

This one is too new for me anyways to begin to take anyone down any particular path other than the one that leads back to the responsible seller.
