I have a friend that says that there is a "car brain" that controls the whole car and if it goes out then the car will no longer run. I want to see if she is correct. I like to find a loop hole in everything and I am definitely into cars and so my questions are, Is there such thing as a so called " Car Brain"? and if so then How do you overthrow it and operate your vehicle?
Thanks for your help.

Hi there,

This "brain" is the ECU, this is the on board processing unit the controlled the engine management system, there is no way to by pass it.
