2000 Suzuki Swift Manual

when i try to start my car, everytime it would crank over but not start, we then replaced the distributor cap and all the leads going to and from it.

This has sort of fixed it, if i use my car several times during the day it starts fine, but if i dont use it all day i have to hold the accelerator down for a few minutes before i can get it to start.
this happens on a hot or cold day. It never used to do this.

what is wrong?
