2007 Suzuki Reno Engine stumbling and stopping

Had the engine stumble today, then finally lose complete power. No service lights came on. Engine will not start now, and starter just whirs. Unit will not jump start either.

Wondering if this could be a timing belt issue, or an ignition module issue? Engine had been running just fine, with no problems at all.
