I bought a 2002 suzuki aerio with aftermarket wheels that were too wide. They rub the rear fender wells when I hit a bump. Is there anything that I could do to make the springs stiffer? I dont want to cut the car or change the wheels if I can help it.

Yes you can make them stiffer, but you have to get new shocks and leaf's made for heavier loads or offroad. Or you could put in a lift kit
