2006 Other Suzuki Models Turning steering wheel

I have a 2006 Grand Vitara and when I am turning either to the lef or right I am getting a squealing sound and also it is tough to turn.

check the belt, pulley and fluid level and color .. it could also be the steering pump is worn !!
