I have a 1998 Suzuki Esteem that has an electical problem where the back break lights remain on after parking and turning off the vehicle. I checked for a sticky break pedal but the break lights won't turn off, even when driving. The turn signals stopped working as well, first they blinked a couple of times then quit, now they don't work at all. Now to make my problem worse, after the car sat overnight I crossed the jumper cables on accident when I went to jump it and everything went dead. I replaced the battery but still no power to anything, no dome lights, no dinging with key in the ignition and of course no starting the engine. Fuses look normal, What should I check next?

Hi there,

Re check the main engine fuse and the ecu fuse, if you have spiked the electrical system these will surly be blown, start here.
