Hi,
The diesel model isn't offered in the US, but I will try my best to help.
If you are getting fuel to the engine, is there any concern of a timing issue, compression issue, or glow plug issue?

Where is the crankshaft sensor located?

That is something I don't have because it isn't listed in any of my manuals. However, normally, they are near the crankshaft pulley.
