2007 Suzuki Forenza check engine light

Our check engine light comes on intermitently. When it does it seems to affect the transmission. I had the codes read at a local Autozone and they told me it was a sensor. The read out he gave me said thet two codes were P0705 and P0700, but none of the readouts listed Suzuki. Help, please.

705 means fault in gear selector P0700 is not a valid code. Does trans seem to be not shifting properly? or like stuck in high gear?
