2006 Suzuki Forenza RE: Car wont move

I just recently was stopped at a light and when I went to move my car woldnt move. It also showed a slash through the D on dash. When I hit excellerator the RPM's rev up but the car will not go anywhere

have the vehicle plugged into a diagnostic computer to check for transmission fault codes
