2006 Suzuki Aerio Car Groan When Stopping

Our Suzuki Aerio SX groans loudly when coming to a stop at any speed. The brakes have been checked and are fine and it is not the tires.

The groan sound seems to come from underneath center as I can feel it with my left foot in the footwell of the passenger side.
