My son's car a/c blows cold most of the time but will occasionally blow hot for extended periods. In AZ the a/c works with no problem. However, he is in the military and assigned to Ft Hood, TX. While in TX, he first experienced the a/c blow hot for 2-3 months. On his return to AZ, the a/c worked fine again. He took to an a/c shop and the compressor is good. While he was home we went tot the beach in Mexico and on the way back his a/c went hot again. A day or so later back in AZ, is was cold again and has been for the past week or so. The tech says he can't say unless he brings it in when the problem is present. What could cause the cold air to hot air issue?
