Suspension bouncing

My SUV was cupping my tires. I have replaced my struts (Monroe Reflux) all around. My truck seemed to have a bounce to it and I was hearing the coils as I drove over small dips. I drove over a speed bump slowly and the back end just bounces. Took the vehicle to 2 NTB places and they found nothing wrong with the suspension. I have considered changing out the coils but now maybe thinking that the Monroe struts are not the ones I need for my vehicle but a stiffer strut. Are the struts suppose to dampen the bumps or the springs?

They dampen the bumps however it should only bounce one or two times after a speed bump. But the coils can be weak as well depends on heavily this has been loaded inpast

I have had a cargo carrier on my hitch and drove several hundred miles on vacation on a number of occasions. Sounds like I need to purchase the whole assembly of Monroe ( Rock auto parts) $115 each or Moog $170 each. Not sure which would be a better way to go.

Try the Monroe, Moog is more noted for having suspension parts. Besides Monroe may make the strut for them anyhow unless there is some different spec for Moog. You can contact Monroe at customer service and tell them your problem and they may recommend a specific shock/strut for you.
