Less than a year ago we had the front lower suspension arm replaced to fix steering on our van. It's just gone in for an MOT and has an advisory for worn lower arm bushes. Is this a normal thing to wear so quickly? Would the part still be under warranty with the garage that fitted it?

Yes, the bushings should not go out that fast but there are two arms on the front of the vehicle so did they both get fixed? Are they both bad? Here is how the job is done in case you want to see the work that was done or needs to be done. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.

Thanks, no it was the driver's side that was initially done and it's the same side that has come up again which is making me think they've used a defective part. The vehicle has only done just over 6,000 miles in that time so I'm thinking of questioning it with the garage.

Yep, if the part is bad they must have used an inferior part, is this a work vehicle? If so it could be something the driver is doing such as running into the same thing everyday?
