Surging problem

When I start my car it surges up and down and won't stop until I put it in drive. Then it'll continue to surge when I'm at a stop light etc.

Hello,

This is probably going to be a vacuum leak with your vehicle. A vacuum leak or intake leak is defined as any unmetered air that enters into your vehicle's engine's combustion chamber. Unmetered air is defined as any air entering the vehicle's engine's combustion chambers past the Mass Air Flow sensor (MAF). Here is a link below on how to find a vacuum leak in your vehicle:
