Sounds like you have some sort of air/vacuum leak. Here is a guide on looking for such a leak: https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-use-an-engine-vacuum-gauge

Pretty much anyone can do that process, so give it a try. And let us know what you find. You can even post pictures if you want/need us to identify the offending part.
