Why is the clutch on my A/C compressor not turning off?

It keeps running the entire time the A/C is running.

Hi,

If it is running constantly, the first thing that comes to mind is a dirty or partially plugged AC condenser. If it is dirty/plugged, it won't cool down the refrigerant causing the compressor to overwork. Do me a favor. First, inspect the condenser. It is located in front of the engine coolant radiator.

The condenser looks like a radiator but isn't. LOL I attached a pic of one below. See if it looks dirty. If it does, spray it off with water and try to get it as clean as possible.
